Dr. med. univ. Wolfgang Niederdorfer

Dr Wolfgang Niederdorfer completed his medical degree at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. Having worked as a doctor in the cardiology department of the Klinik Augustinum in Munich, he served as a surgical and anaesthetic registrar at the city’s Diakonissenanstalt hospital.

Dr Niederdorfer trained to be a dermatologist at the Klinik für Dermatologie und Allergologie in Davos, Switzerland, and at the dermatological clinic of the Technische Universität München. During his time in Switzerland, Dr Niederdorfer met his fellow student Dr Stefan Duve. In 1995, they joined forces to set up the Haut- und Laserzentrum, which was then located on Munich’s Gärtnerplatz square. In 1999, Dr Hans-Peter Schoppelrey became the practice’s third dermatologist and partner. In 2004, the practice moved to Perusastrasse, where it was given its current name: HAUT- UND LASERZENTRUM AN DER OPER.

In 2008, just a few years after the move, the trio expanded their renowned practice by adding the AIYASHA medical spa. Here, in the heart of Munich with direct access to the HAUT- UND LASERZENTRUM AN DER OPER, East-Asian spa rituals meet first-class aesthetic dermatology and personalised detox and nutritional programmes.
