Nowadays, our skin is exposed to substantially more challenges than in the past. Environmental influences, stress factors and an increased incidence of allergies are not leaving it unscathed. This especially applies to the skin of babies and children, because it is much thinner, more sensitive and vulnerable than that of an adult.

In order to meet the special skin requirements of babies and children in diagnostics and treatment, we look after exclusively our little patients in a special consultation for children. Modern academic medicine and its findings are particularly helpful in the case of skin diseases, which can quickly become chronic. At the same time, we are open to alternative methods of treatment at our practice and are also capable of thinking outside strict limits. For example, the chances of success are improved by a holistic therapy approach that also takes into account the little patient’s eating habits and family circumstances.

Treatment focuses of the children’s consultation include, among others, neurodermatitis, nappy rash, acne, hayfever, warts, birthmarks, haemangiomas and sound advice on protection from the sun.
