Hyaluron treatment

Wrinkle treatment with hyaluronic acid

Injections for filling wrinkles

Probably the most popular method of making wrinkles, such as the nasolabial fold and sunken scars, almost vanish, is the injection of fillers. It is extremely important that these substances are well tolerated and do not cause allergies. They should also achieve results that are as permanent and reproducible as possible, remain at the site of the injection and are biocompatible, i. e. not recognisable to the organism as foreign bodies.

Informations about the Hyaluron treatment

A distinction is basically made between degradable and permanent fillers. Hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite fall under the category of degradable materials. The special thing about hyaluronic acid is that it is a natural component of our connective tissue, which is produced in laboratories in a highly purified form for use in aesthetic dermatology. Depending on the size and intensity of the chain of individual hyaluronic acid molecules, there are materials with higher density for pronounced wrinkles and lower density for smaller wrinkles and lines.
Calcium hydroxyapatite is particularly suitable for injection to treat moderately deep and deep wrinkles. The calcium hydroxyapatite matrix introduced under the skin stimulates the formation of new connective tissue. While the connective tissue is regenerating and forming new tissue, the matrix is slowly broken down.
In contrast to degradable fillers, permanent injection material cannot be broken down by the metabolism. Due to possible side effects such as allergies and the formation of granulomas (nodules), we only use permanent filling substances at the HAUT- UND LASERZENTRUM AN DER OPER if degradable materials do not achieve the desired effect and we can exclude all possible risks of intolerance. These materials should only be injected by doctors with a large amount of experience.

A filler treatment is particularly suitable for men who want to reduce wrinkles without much effort in order to achieve a more youthful, fresher appearance. A filler treatment is ideal, e .g. for nasolabial folds or marionette lines. The injection materials can also be used to raise or emphasise sunken areas, e. g. on the jawline (chin-jaw contour), temples, the chin or cheeks. Dark circles under the eyes can also be injected with a filler and concealed as a result.

The filler is injected directly into the skin region being treated using an exceptionally fine needle. With men, the focus is particularly put on the cheekbone in order to preserve the male features and ensure a natural looking result.

One treatment usually only lasts 15 minutes. In general, one session is sufficient. If the result is to be maintained permanently, a booster injection every six to twelve months is recommended.

As a rule, a recovery period is not required. In rare cases, redness or even tiny bruises may occur after the injection.

Exercise should be avoided for 24 hours. It is also advisable to avoid excessive exposure to the sun and extreme heat for about a week (e. g. sauna, solarium).

The filler injected with a thin needle fills wrinkles, adds volume to sunken areas, shapes and rejuvenates facial features. Depending on the substance, wrinkle depth and injection quantity, the desired effect lasts for about six to 24 months after one treatment. However, it takes about one to two weeks until the result is seen.

With men in particular, the aim is to preserve the male facial features and to make the result look natural.

Most of our patients experience the treatment as unpleasant at most. If necessary, a local anaesthetic cream can also be used to pre-treat the skin.

If not used properly, fillers can lead to considerable side effects. The use of a high-quality branded preparation is therefore also crucial, in addition to many years of experience.

Yes, a difference can already be seen straight after the injection. However, the result is only visible after about 14 days once the swelling caused by the injection has completely subsided.

Yes, in fact, studies prove this. A filler treatment not only leads to an improvement in collagen synthesis, but also optimises the skin’s moisture balance in the long term.

Yes, filler treatments are particularly suitable for acne scars and lead to an instantly visible result.
