PROFHILO®

The unique anti-ageing therapy with Profhilo® was specifically developed to replenish hyaluron reserves and improve the skin quality in the long term. Profhilo® is therefore more a kind of moisturiser than a classic filler. As a rule, one treatment consists of a total of two sessions. Profhilo® is injected under the skin surface at five defined injection points using a very fine needle: the cheekbone, chin, jaw angle, tragus and cheek area at the level of the nostrils. It smooths fine lines, firms the complexion and improves the skin structure. At the same time, it stimulates hyaluron production and supports the formation of elastin and collagen.

With the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid currently available on the world market, Profhilo® improves the tissue quality of the skin and can be easily combined with all common aesthetic or cosmetic procedures (such as fillers, PRP, laser and botulinum treatments).
The secret to Profhilo® lies in its unique formulation, which combines high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. The result is highly pure hyaluron, which floods the skin with moisture from the inside due to its strong water absorbing effect. Injected into the skin using a gentle application technique, the gel spreads extremely evenly and does not have to be worked in with a special massage technique as usual. This not only makes the application pleasant, but also shortens the treatment time quite considerably.

It is useful to inject Profhilo® wherever the skin is to be visibly rejuvenated with a kind of freshness boost. Besides the face, these are mainly areas such as the neck, cleavage, hands, elbows, knees or even upper arms (so-called bat wings).

Profhilo® is not used to improve certain areas of the face (such as lips, cheeks, chin), but rather the entire facial skin benefits from the moisture-retaining effect. Injected into the skin in tiny quantities, Profhilo® remains in the tissue 30 times longer than conventional non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and develops its hydrating and stimulating effect accordingly over a longer period of time.

From your early 30s onwards, the collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid content decreases continuously, and the first signs of the ageing process become increasingly visible. Fine lines appear, your facial features change and the skin in general looks much older. Profhilo® is primarily intended for patients who now want to improve the skin quality quickly and, above all, with low risk, using a kind of freshness treatment.

A clear freshness effect is visible, smoothing the skin and making fine lines disappear after just two treatments within four weeks. Even with very pronounced wrinkled skin, an improvement can be seen in the overall texture. A follow-up treatment can be carried out after six months to maintain the achieved result in the long term.

Depending on the individual skin condition and the amount used, the Profhilo® treatment’s result lasts up to six months.

Two treatments at an interval of four weeks are usually recommended for a long-lasting result. The result is then usually seen four weeks after the second treatment.

Generally speaking: no alcohol should be consumed 24 hours before any treatment. We also recommend that you avoid taking aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs for a few days beforehand. This considerably reduces the risk of bruising at the injection sites. We will be happy to advise you in person if you are uncertain about anything or have any questions.

All everyday activities can be resumed immediately after the Profhilo® treatment. Nevertheless, we do not recommend applying make-up on the day of treatment (with the exception of special mineral make-up). Visits to the gym, sauna, steam bath and swimming pool should also be avoided.
