With the non-invasive Swiss CellVibe method, HAUT- UND LASERZENTRUM AN DER OPER is expanding its range of treatments with a patented method which is the first to fight all grades of cellulite while contributing to the skin’s firmness and elasticity.
Cellulite forms as a result of the specific construction of the skin and connective tissue and their response to female hormones. Collagen fibers which ensure elasticity run parallel to each other in women. Fat cells can push their way between these fibers and this becomes visible on the surface. The result is the typical pitted skin texture which occurs primarily on the thighs and buttocks. Obesity or weak connective tissue also encourages the formation of cellulite.
Swiss CellVibe uses acoustic waves which enter the cellulite tissue without damaging the skin to make it firmer. An acoustic wave is a pressure impulse which is generated outside the body. The waves are emitted in quick succession and are transported through the tissue. This method has been known for several decades and is also used for other purposes, such as to blast kidney stones. As a therapy against cellulite, it enhances the metabolic processes in the tissue, accelerating the reduction of fat and making the bulges in the subcutaneous tissue disappear. CellVibe transmits up to 3,500 vibes for each treated area. The frequency varies between 8 and 20 Hz and the intensity ranges between 1.5 and 4 bar.
Before beginning a Swiss CellVibe session, the grade of cellulite is determined. The intensity of the CellVibe can be set according to the patient’s individual needs. The front and backs of thighs, buttocks, saddlebags, inner and outer thighs, calves and arms can be treated. No anesthesia is required. It also does not involve any recovery time. You can immediately resume your activities after treatment. The procedure begins with a coupling gel being applied to the area to be treated, which enables the acoustic waves to be transported into the issue. The handset with a 36-millimeter applicator is then moved over the treatment areas with a combination of circular and figure-of-eight and grid-like patterns at various intensities. This stimulates blood circulation and enhances the transportation of fat cells. The result: the skin’s surface becomes smoother and more even. A complete session lasts around 30 minutes during which up to seven different areas can be treated. At least eight sessions are recommended to achieve optimum results, ideally twice a week.
