Treatment to improve stretched skin

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks – medically known as striae – occur when the skin is under excessive strain. That can happen when young people grow quickly, when a person’s weight fluctuates significantly, during pregnancy or due to treatment with certain medications, such as cortisone. Such instances can result in irreparable tears in the hypodermis. Stretch marks are usually found on the stomach, thighs and buttocks but can also affect the breasts and upper arms. The phenomenon affects both women and men. Strictly speaking, stretch marks are scars, which therefore cannot be fully removed. That is why the aim of the various therapeutic approaches is to improve the condition of the stretch marks and thereby reduce visible stripes. KOREAN METHOD

A new method created by Korean doctors combines the so-called intradermal radiofrequency with Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP), also known as Dracula therapy or vampire lifting. The result: the tissue in the stretch marks becomes more elastic and the color tone adapts to the rest of the skin.

RIO METHOD

The combination of the three methods - pricking, injection of the patient's own blood, laser therapy - leads to a strengthening of the collagen and elastic connective tissue over the course of a four-week healing phase. The effect: the stretch marks become significantly narrower.
